That SUCKS! Lesson of this story: never be the mutter alonger, kids. And even if you are, don”t tell other people {especially the castmates!} that they are wrong. I was in Annie Get Your Gun once and when I went to the stage door and a woman came up to me and said, “You sang “No Business like show business” wrong.” I wanted to punch her. Oh, she also said, “I”ve seen this show 8 times, and you did it completely wrong. Your show is culturally inaccurate.”

And the guy in the front row decides to use the only toilet in the place (stage right) and flushes as I am trying to bring real tears as I read the letter telling me (spoiler) that my son is dead. If I had killed him on the spot I think I might have gotten away with it!!!

As a regular theatre goer I have learnt the proper theatre etiquette and don’t find myself doing any of these in the audience. I did have a cold during a show once and that was very difficult, especially when your nose is blocked and you can’t breath lol. Also the sniffer and nose blower ?

People who get up to dance to the songs in the aisles, or worse in their seats. In doing so they distract everyone around them or full out block them from seeing the stage.

Made even worse when the dancing isn’t good.
