Very good advice! I haven’t really been typecast but a couple years back I auditioned for Oklahoma, hoping to get Ado Annie. I’m generally a very quiet and shy person so my directors went into my audition not expecting much. However I’d worked my butt off, reading scenes and creating a character all summer before auditions, and I blew them away! I ended up getting the part and it was one of the best experiences of my life. All that to say, my biggest advice for this type of thing would just be to work hard! Preparing for a role in depth is the best way to do it, and it’ll grow your talents as well!

This is very good article. My young and talented cousin is preparing for audition. Having an inspirations helps a lot grooming one self and specially in this field if you have one person you idolize then it becomes easy to be as talented as them and it force you to work hard and have your own personality. I also think one should let people be aware of his/her talent by approaching different people for the role you want. If you want to get the role you're dying to get you hands on then reach out to relevant people and show them your talent.
I've approached Outpost Worldwide,a corporate video production house in Kansas City, as they are involved in many endeavors and have loads of opportunity which my interest my cousin.
