Great article! I am a hairdresser by trade but I took the route of teaching and performing. I was one of the first students trained here in San Francisco in 1974 at Vidal Sasoon’s School by the original group that started in London on Bond St. I want to write a musical about the revolutionary times of fashion changing in the sixties because of what Vidal and his creative team did to forever change the look of the modern woman with a haircut – it was shocking geometric cuts that young ladies were wearing. I need help writing if anyone out there is interested- it is a rich story idea that I believe would make an amazing musical. Thank you!

I was scanning the internet about how to write a musical and I found this. I have just finished the second rewrite of my first ever musical(I am poet/or song writer by nature and it something that comes from deep with in is probably best way to explain). I found this article very helpful and proved my thoughts are heading in the right direction regarding who I need to help me and how to move my musical forward. So thank you very much

I bookmarked this article because I love how it explained exactly what you need to do and in what order. I also liked the affirmation about how if you’re afraid to suck, don’t bother. Self-doubt is going to be there but you won’t get better unless you keep trying.
