I was in that production with Sarah…I played Star To Be and 4 other roles…Chris Jamison. It was my Broadway debut which I’ll never forget. Glad you loved it!

The original Annie. I sobbed through it because I was a small town girl from Washington state who never thought she would ever see the lights of Broadway. The show was amazing. New York was amazing. Everything about the experience was over-the-top amazing. After that I made a yearly pilgrammage to NYC to take in as many shows as I could pack in five days. (P.S. I perform in community theater and later played Miss Hannigan. Too much fun!)

I took my friend to her first ever broadway show when we were in middle school and we went to see Wicked. It was absolutely amazing watcher her sit at the edge of her seat the whole performance, and after the famous Act 1 closer, she was stunned speechless. I am so happy I got to do such a wonderful thing for her. She ended up playing a part in every musical in her high school. We are now “Broadway Buddies” and see as many shows together as possible (well, as we can afford!).

A matinee of A Chorus Line, sometime back in the mid 70’s. I still have my ticket stub $19.00.
Just bought Hamilton tickets for April 2017 and thought to myself “my how things have changed.” : )

My first was Mary Poppins in 2008(?). I remember the curtain really well, but not much else.

Original production of Edwin Drood. Donna Murphy had taken over the title role from Betty Buckley. In the opening “There You Are” she stood in the aisle next to my seat and sang “I’m considering the lap of a most engaging chap…”
