You may know this wonderful actress as Mother from Ragtime, for which she received a Tony nomination but lost to Natasha Richardson’s portrayal of Sally Bowles in Cabaret. Marin has also been nominated in Featured Actress for Passion (losing to Audra McDonald in Carousel) and Leading Actress for Kiss Me, Kate (losing to Heather Headley for Aida).
