I know that Hamilton totally deserved a Tony because it was pretty amazing, Waitress still deserved something. It not only is hilarious, starred the one and only Jessie Mueller, and had a score by pop icon Sara Barielles, it also told the incredibly empowering story of Jenna (which any woman of any age can relate to tbh).
